Submissions

Submissions can range in a variety of topics and formats so long as they primarily are informed by your personal experience. We are currently accepting short essays, stories, images, poems,and other creative genres. All submissions can also be emailed to: chowkblog@gmail.com Submissions will go through an editing process where you may be asked to revise based on our intentions for Chowk. With your submission, please include a picture of yourself and short bio for your piece. An attachment of a picture that relates to the writing in any way is also encouraged. Our mission is to center immigrant individuals, experiences, and culture. We are committed to being an open platform for amateur and non-professional writers.
